Golfing On Cape Cod

If you're a golfer and your visiting the Cape then golfing on Cape Cod is a must. Take a break from the Cape's beautiful seashore and enjoy a round of golf on Cape Cod. There are roughly 50 challenging public, private and semi-private golf courses to choose from. Whether you're a casual golfer or a seasoned veteran you will enjoy the breathtaking scenery, the plush green fairways and the well manicured greens.

From the time you enter the Upper Cape in Falmouth to the time you reach the Outer Cape in Provincetown golfing on the Cape is abundant. It's one of the most pristine places on the East Coast to enjoy a true golf experience. In fact the Cape ranks second to only Myrtle Beach in South Carolina as being the most visited golf destination in the United States.

What's Your Preference?

When you golf on the Cape you'll have the choice to spend the full day or just a part of your day golfing. You will be able to choose from a quick round on a par three, a short stint on a nine hole challenge or a stroll through a 6300 yard 18 hole wooded or water view course. The choice is yours if you're up to the challenge. Most of the courses have driving ranges and practice golf greens as well as on site restaurants. With the mild weather patterns throughout the year the golf fanatic can always find a course to go golfing on Cape Cod that is open year round. Many of the golf courses were designed by noted golf course architects like Geoffery Cornish, Rees Jones, Brian Silva and Skip Wogan.

Featured Golf Courses for This Package

Bayberry Hills and Bass River

Bayberry Hills 18 holes designed by Geoffery Cornish in 1988 and an additional 9 styled "links" holes were designed by Bryan Ault in 1990. The "red course" 7200 yards (from the back tees) is a straightforward challenge that requires every bit of a golfer's skill. The course is set through a rolling topography that cuts through a pine forest resembling the best Pinehurst courses.

There are multiple doglegs and generous landing areas which will allow the use of a driver. Built on over 200 acres, this pristine eighteen holes of golf offers a sense of spaciousness not normally found on most modern courses.

There is also a 9 hole "links" course featuring 6690 yards from the back tees and 2 of the best par 3 holes found on the Cape. The course can be played once as nine or twice as eighteen. It can also be played in conjunction with one of the other nines of the eighteen hole course.

This gives the golfer a wide assortment of options and challenges without traveling time or gas consumption.

The greens are wickedly sloping, the pin placements are diabolical and there's the wind, So the challenge of the "Links" is the ever changing conditions that result in an endless variety of shots. Those who try can't wait to come back.

Bass River Famous for it's Cape Cod Views, of none other than the "Bass River", this 18 hole Donald Ross designed course will call for every shot in the bag. You can find nothing but pure enjoyment on it's 6129 yards of unforgetable scenery. The course has a 68.5 ranking and a slope of 115 combine this with tight landing areas, steep bunkers and the "Cape Cod Wind Factor" and you have a course that will bring out the ultimate gut check for every golfer involved.

Amenities include practice putting, golf instuctions, club rentals, golf cars, pro shop, food and beverage service and the always anticipated 19th hole
