Mrs. Mitchells Gifts located on Main Street in Hyannis or Rte 28 in West Yarmouth. Mrs Mitchell's Gift Shops were founded in 1966 by Freda and George Mitchell in Hampton Beach, NH. Joining the family business was their son Frank Mitchell and his wife Evelyn. They, along with their six children, spent every summer running the store. Robert and Jessica Mitchell now carry on the tradition by owning and managing Mrs Mitchell's in New Hampshire. In 1991 Lynn Mitchell and her dad opened their Yarmouth, Cape Cod, MA location. Lynn and her husband Gary have run that location ever since. George, Freda and Evelyn all passed away in the '90s and Frank Mitchell recently in October 2002.
